Goal: Hunt, identify, and deliver quality candidates to recruiters for further processing.
Deep sourcing using job portals, LinkedIn, internal database, market mapping, headhunting.
Create Boolean strings and search strategies as per job descriptions.
Resume screening to match skills, experience, education, compensation, and notice period.
Initial candidate engagement: telephonic screening and gauging interest.
Building target company lists for headhunting.
Daily CV submissions to the recruiter or ATS after basic screening.
Interview scheduling for shortlisted candidates.
Tracker updates: CVs sourced, screened, and lined up.
Lead generation if active roles are limited — mine new mandates and roles.
Hand off warm/qualified candidates to the recruiter (farmer) for deeper counselling.
Goal: Convert qualified candidates into successful joiners through guidance, relationship building, and follow-through.
Detailed counselling of shortlisted candidates shared by the sourcer.
Explain job role, company background, and growth prospects.
Prepare and groom candidates for interviews – expectations, etiquette, and potential Q&As.
Regular follow-ups with candidates for feedback, availability, and rescheduling.
Client coordination on feedback, offer negotiation, and decision-making.
Offer discussion & negotiation – salary, role clarity, joining date.
Pre-joining engagement – keep the candidate warm till joining.
Joining confirmation and documentation.
Post-joining follow-up – ensure candidate has settled well and is aligned.
Build long-term relationship with the candidate for referrals and future mandates.
